Historic Environment Scotland require a contractor to provide general labouring duties The work will be on an ordinary jobbing nature for maintenance services and day to day repair, assisting tradesmen and general associated labouring duties including: hand excavations backfilling cleaning/lifting litter slab laying grounds maintenance labouring duties building labouring duties dumper driving (certificate required) use other small plant This list is not exhaustive and Historic Environment Scotland may also require additional Labouring works of a similar nature to be carried out. The work may include small refurbishment/fire protection projects which will entail working alongside other trades. The specific sites include Edinburgh Castle, The Palace of Holyroodhouse, Holyrood Park, Bute House, Longmore House, John Sinclair House & Trinity House in Leith. Historic Environment Scotland may add other sites during the contract period. Included in this management role is the provision of Labouring service to Historic Environment Scotland's Regional Offices, Works Depots and Monuments - particularly those open to the public. Estimated value of contract is GBP 120,000 over 4 years, this is provided without commitment.
Renewal: It is envisaged that the Contract will commence on 27th April 2018 for a period of two years, with the option to extend the Contract by two further one year periods at the sole discretion of the Client. The maximum contract period will therefore be four years dependent upon satisfactory completion of all aspects of the contract to date.
