The buildings will be divided into 2 work packages based on school and geographical area. The project is likely to require two teams carrying out the work in unison in order to meet the completion date.

Lot 1

The University of Edinburgh wishes to appoint an asset data capture company to undertake the asset tagging and data capture of equipment within the buildings identified within the pricing schedule. The buildings shall be divided into 2 work packages based on school and geographical area. A single supplier will be appointed to manage the project. Due to the large number of buildings involved, while a single supplier will be appointed to deliver the project, they will be required to provide separate delivery teams to undertake the work packages concurrently in the two geographical areas below and both will be required to be completed by the same deadline: Work Package 1 - Central Work Package 2 - Meds + Vets and Holyrood The work should be undertaken Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am to 5pm. A pre-start meeting will be held on with the appointed supplier. Details will be included within the appointment letter. The price should include the initial tagging exercise, the lift tagging exercise and a wash up exercise which includes any additional walkround required with the local trades team to find known but missing equipment or specialist access equipment.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if there are any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
