Notice Description
Scottish Enterprise (SE) directly delivers a variety of services and programmes through a comprehensive, differentiated account management service that provides strategic engagement and access to a wide range of specialists, products and services to over 2000 companies. The newly launched Start2Scale service is part of that account managed service providing end-to-end focussed, targeted and connected support for those companies and ambitious entrepreneurs to accelerate the journey from start up to scaling. The strategic objective of the Start2Scale service is to increase the number of companies in Scotland with a potential to scale their turnover to GBP50-GBP100M.

Life Sciences
Life Sciences High Growth Start Up Specialists will possess specific experience of working in the Life Sciences industry in areas such as: Medical Devices, Drug Discovery & Testing, Stem Cells; Diagnostics and Therapeutics; Industrial Bio-Tech; BioTools; Regenerative Medicine; Connected Health; Chemical Sciences and Animal Health.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
Renewal: The framework duration will be 3 years with an option to extend for 12 months. The estimated total value detailed in this Contract Notice includes the one year optional extension.
EnergyEnergy High Growth Start Up Specialists will possess specific experience of working in the energy industry in areas such as: Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy (e.g. offshore wind power, wave power, tidal power, solar power, geo thermal power, and bio-fuels), Smart Grids; Fuel Cells, Water and Heat solutions and Clean Tech (energy efficient technologies and carbon capture and storage).. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
Renewal: The framework duration will be 3 years with an option to extend for 12 months. The estimated total value detailed in this Contract Notice includes the one year optional extension.
Technology / Digital Media / Non TechnologyTechnology/Digital Media/Non Technology High Growth Start Up Specialists will possess specific experience of working in technology sectors and subsectors such as: High-tech manufacturing and engineering industries such as Advanced or Precision Engineering, Electronic Devices & Systems, Communications, Network Hardware and Data, Internet of Things, Wearable Technology, Information Technology and Digital or Creative Markets including Software, Internet and Mobile Apps, Music and Video Technologies, Electronic Publishing, Computer Games, Fintech, Informatics, Cyber Security and Digital Health & Wellbeing. Suppliers in this Lot will also require to demonstrate experience in non technology sectors such as Food & Drink, Tourism, Financial & Business Services and Construction. Consequently, this lot will likely require a higher number of proposed advisors than the other lots.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
