The project will be to fund an International Technical Trade Resource for an initial 12-month period to further explore in market opportunities that fit with the Scottish capabilities and capacity. The consultant must be able to demonstrate expertise in - Business development Industry experience; - Track record of being able demonstrate a network of contacts with international corporates and global organisations to support trade development. - Ability to evaluate market opportunities in relation to Scottish technology strengths and capabilities to assist in promoting internationally - Ability to demonstrate experience of working with and/or engaging with Scottish SMEs to further develop their business development approach.
