Summary of the contracting process

The Common Services Agency, commonly known as NHS National Services Scotland (NSS), is planning to establish a Framework Agreement for the leasing of commercial vehicles, including light and heavy models. This procurement is classified under the health industry sector and has an indicative contract spend of £12.5 million over a four-year period. The procurement process is currently in the planning stage, with key dates including a future notice date of 18 May 2018. The framework will cater to all NHS Scotland sites including the Islands, providing vital services for vehicle leasing and associated maintenance.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in the leasing and servicing of commercial vehicles. Suppliers that offer customisation, servicing, maintenance, and roadside support services would be well-positioned to compete. Those operating within the light and heavy commercial vehicle sectors, particularly companies with expertise in vehicle conversion and full-service maintenance, may find this procurement particularly beneficial for expanding their business within the public health domain.
