Lot 1

It is Ayrshire Housing's intention to enter into a contract with one contractor to deliver their annual inspections, reactive maintenance and planned maintenance to Gas systems for a two year period. The work comprises primarily the provision of annual servicing and breakdown maintenance to gas central heating within properties owned and managed by Ayrshire Housing including all labour, parts, etc. to ensure gas fires and gas fired central heating systems together with all associated pipework and ancillary electrical equipment function safely and efficiently during the Contract. The work is to include for the repairing or replacing of any item, including equipment found to be faulty when undertaking annual servicing or maintenance. This includes repairing or replacing defective or obsolete components but excludes replacement boilers or gas fires. The properties have a variety of boiler types and heating appliances by several manufacturers. The secondary element of the contract is planned maintenance works. As the full requirement of these works has not yet been formalised the Tender document contains only provisional items for this element of the works. Ayrshire Housing reserve the right to tender this element of the works if they do not consider the prices received from the successful contractor to be sufficiently competitive to offer best value to the Association.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016.

Renewal: Extension of contract for any variable period up to a maximum of three years.
