Notice Description
The Common Services Agency (more commonly known as National Services Scotland) ('the Authority') actingthrough its division Procurement, Commissioning and Facilities is undertaking this procurement of supply anddelivery of Central Venous Catheters on behalf of all entities constituted pursuant to the National Health Service(Scotland) Act 1978 (i.e. all NHS Scotland Health Boards, Special Health Boards and the Authority or other NHSOrganisation established pursuant to the NHS (Scotland) Act 1978), any integrated Joint Boards establishedpursuant to the new Public Bodies (Joint Working) Scotland Act 2014 (collectively here after referred to as'Participating Authorities').
Lot Information
Single Use Trocars
We require a Single Use Trocar for use in a wide range of NHSS Acute setting. One of the primary functions for a Trocar is to be used as a portal for subsequent placement of other instruments and specimen retrieval bags. These will be used in an acute setting across NHSS by suitably trained personnel. Lot One (1) -- We envisage that Five (5) suppliers will be awarded to this lot as a Multi Supplier Ranked Framework.
Renewal: 2 Optional extension periods both consisting of 12 months can be utilised by the Authority.
Single use Laparoscopic InstrumentationWe require a Single Use Laparoscopic Instrumentation for use in a wide range of NHSS Acute setting. One of the primary functions of a Single Use Laparoscopic Instrumentation is to be used in conjunction with Trocars, not necessarily all sizes, and Retrieval Bags/System's within a acute environment. Lot Two(2)-- We envisage that Five (5) suppliers will be awarded to this lot as a Multi Supplier Ranked Framework.
Renewal: 2 Optional extension periods both consisting of 12 months can be utilised by the Authority.
Specimen Retrieval Bags/SystemsWe require a Single Use Laparoscopic Instrumentation for use in a wide range of NHSS Acute setting. One of the primary functions of a Single Use Laparoscopic Instrumentation is to be used in conjunction with Trocars, not necessarily all sizes, and Retrieval Bags/System's within a acute environment. Lot Three (3) -- We envisage that Five (5) suppliers will be awarded to this lot as a Multi Supplier Ranked Framework.

Reposable Laparoscopic Instruments & AccessoriesWe require a Reposable Laparoscopic Instrumentation for use in a wide range of NHSS Acute setting. Lot Four (4) - We envisage that Five (5) suppliers will be awarded to this lot as a Multi Supplier Ranked Framework.

Paediatric Single Use TrocarsWe require a Paediatric Single Trocars for use in a wide range of NHSS Acute setting. One of the primary functions of a Paediatric Single Use Trocar Laparoscopic Instruments and Retrieval Bags/System's, not necessarily all sizes within a acute environment. Lot Five (5) - We envisage that Ten (10) suppliers will be awarded to this lot as a Multi Supplier Unranked Framework.

Reposable TrocarsWe require a Reposable Trocar for use in a wide range of NHSS Acute setting. One of the primary functions may be that it can be used conjunction with Laparoscopic Instrumentation and Retrieval Bags/System's, not necessarily all sizes, within a acute environment. Lot Six (6) - We envisage that Ten (10) suppliers will be awarded to this lot as a Multi Supplier Unranked Framework.
Renewal: 2 Optional extension periods both consisting of 12 months can be utilised by the Authority.
Single Use InstrumentsWe require a range of Needle Holders that can be used in Endo Surgery for Temporary Occlusion within an NHSS acute setting by suitably trained personnel. Lot Seven (7) - We envisage that 10 suppliers will be awarded to this lot as a Multi Supplier Unranked Framework.
Renewal: 2 Optional extension periods both consisting of 12 months can be utilised by the Authority.
Suction Irrigation SetsWe require a Disposable Single Use Suction Irrigation Tube, in various lengths, that is required for easy fluid removal & Irrigation during endoscopic surgery. These will be use in an acute environment by suitably trained personnel. Lot Eight(8) -- We envisage that Ten (10) suppliers will be awarded to this lot as a Multi Supplier Unranked Framework.
Renewal: 2 Optional extension periods both consisting of 12 months can be utilised by the Authority.
Single Use Accessories9.1 We require a Anti Fog solution that may be used on endoscopic lenses and surgical cameras which inhibits condensation and clouding within an NHSS Acute setting. 9.2 We require a Wound Protector, which is available in different sizes, that can provide maximum exposure during procedures and will be used by suitably trained staff within an NHSS acute setting. 9.3 We require a DCS Camera Sleeve which provides a sterile barrier around the camera head and cable within an NHSS Acute setting. 9.4 We require a Insufflation tubing for use in laparoscopic surgery for delivery of clean filtered CO2 within NHS Scotland and used by suitably trained personnel. 9.5 We require a range of Elastic Retractors which is comprised of a variety of self-retaining, adjustable retractors which offer superior access and visualization across a wide range of surgical applications within NHS Scotland and will be used by suitably trained personnel. Lot Nine (9) -- We envisage that Ten (10) suppliers will be awarded to this lot as a Multi Supplier Unranked Framework.
