Substance Misuse Counselling and Support Services to Forth Valley Alcohol & Drug Partnership
Notice Description
The Common Services Agency (known as National Services Scotland)("the Authority") acting through its division Procurement, Commissioning & Facilities is undertaking this procurement of the supply of Substance Misuse Support Services on behalf of Forth Valley Alcohol & Drug Partnership and Forth Valley Health Board (constituted pursuant to the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978 (as amended) and having its principal office at Carseview House, Castle Business Park, Stirling FK9 4SW (the "Board" which expression shall include its statutory successors and assignees)). It is expected the annual value will not exceed GBP 1.4m ex. VAT, over a period of 3 years. Forth Valley Alcohol and Drug Partnership require the provision of an adult substance treatment service for those who require advice, information, crisis support or treatment to address drug and or alcohol use. This provision will be available across Clackmannanshire, Stirling and Falkirk.

Lot 1
The Framework will be to provide recovery focussed, accessible, advice and information seven days a week, for anyone concerned about their alcohol consumption or drug use. A range of evidenced based treatment options and harm reduction advice will be available to reduce the risks associated with drug and or alcohol use. The service will support assertive outreach, harm reduction, support for alcohol dependence and alcohol / drug detoxification, structured counselling , opioid substitution key working (within a range of settings) and community rehabilitation support (employability and recovery support).. Services must be provided locally from 3 distinct locales: Falkirk, Stirling and Clackmannanshire local authority areas. The core drug and alcohol service will have 7 day coverage, including Public Holidays. A minimum of 2 fixed access points per local Authority should be available.
