The purpose of this Tender is to seek the provision of an integrated Assistive Technology (AT) Solution by a soul external provider who will offer the following outcomes and benefits: The provision of a Product Stock Management Portal Provision of AT training to all student requiring training Provision of formal staff training Advice and guidance to advisory staff as requested Provide AT equipment, hardware and software Management of equipment repairs and imaging of laptops. This procurement will be conducted via the Public Contracts Scotland - Tender portal (PCS-T). We will apply a one stage Open procedure. Bidders must self-certify their adherence to the conditions of participation via the ESPD (Scotland) in PSC-T, and may be required to submit Means of Proof before contract award. Bidders must refer to the specific requirements listed in the Section III in this OJEU Contract Notice when completing the ESPD in PCS-T.

The University of Edinburgh is Tendering for the Provision of Assistive Technology Goods & Services on behalf of Student Disability Service (SDS.) SDS provides a wide range of loan equipment to students, such as laptops, digital voice recorders and Livescribe pens. In addition to the hardware provided, there are a number of software programmes designed to assist students in their Learning Experience including, but not limited to: Microsoft Office. Inspiration or Mindgenius - for mind mapping to help with essay planning and revision. TextHelp - reads text back from the computer screen. Dragon - voice recognition which converts speech into text.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if there are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
