Summary of the contracting process

NHS Ayrshire & Arran is currently engaged in the procurement process for the "Provision of CCTV System for University Hospital Crosshouse", aimed at enhancing security through the installation of an advanced IP-based CCTV system. The procurement, categorised under the health industry, is in the planning stage with a deadline for submission set for 13 August 2018. This project will take place at the University Hospital Crosshouse in Kilmarnock, with a budget of approximately £150,000 and involves a selective procurement method under a restricted procedure.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in security systems, particularly those offering advanced surveillance technologies. Companies that have proven expertise in delivering large-scale installation projects, especially those accredited by the Security Systems and Alarm Inspection Board (SSAIB) or similar bodies, would be well-positioned to compete. Furthermore, suppliers demonstrating solid financial standings and relevant project experience will enhance their likelihood of success in this competitive procurement process.
