Notice Description

Southside Housing Association requires a suitably qualified contractor to carryout a comprehensive window servicing and repair contract for all their residential properties, inclusive of common areas, balcony and patio doors and associated fixed screens would also be included in the servicing works.

Lot Information

Lot 1

The work to be carried out include the servicing and repairs to window components within domestic properties, predominantly occupied residential units, inclusive of common areas. The definition of window will include fixed screens within properties and fixed screens with op-enable sections and any op-enable window/door that serves as a window, i.e. Juliet doors and balcony doors including any attached fixed screens. The works will be programmed to be carried out over the three year period of the contract. Carrying out all minor repairs, supplying and fitting of replacement components and parts and undertaking adjustments to maintain the windows, balcony and patio doors and associated fixed lights are included in the contract. The full scope of servicing and maintenance is as set out in the Invitation to Tender documents. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulations 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016.

Renewal: The contract may be extended for any variable period up to a maximum of 24 months.
