APUC Fresh Fruit and Vegetables
Notice Description
The Authority is seeking Contractor(s) for provision of Fresh Fruit and Vegetables products to the Scottish Higher and Further Education sector and also Glasgow City Council. The Authority are seeking to obtain, through this tendering process, price normalisation for all Institutions within a Lot - regardless of size and demand. The Authority are also seeking to gain a level of price normalisation across the Lots where no Lot is subsidised by a smaller or more geographically disperse Lot. A maximum of 3 Contractors will be appointed per lot.
Lot Information
North Highlands & Islands
The scope of the Framework Agreement was to secure consistent in availability of quality fresh fruit and vegetables, salad ingredients and prepared fruit and vegetables. To achieve this, all products supplied under this Framework Agreement conform to the General Standards as set out in Article 3 of the EU Regulation (EU) No 543/2011 and Appendix 1 Section A of this same regulation. Where applicable, fruits and salad shall be Class 1 EU Grade as defined in Annex 1, Part B - Specific Marketing Standards - to Regulation (EC) No 543/2011.. Economic operators may have been excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
Renewal: The Authoirty reserves the right to extend the Framework Agreement for a period of up to 24 months subject to satisfactory performance and continued Institutions requirements.
