Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process involves Historic Environment Scotland, which is located at Longmore House, Salisbury Place, Edinburgh, UK. They are seeking to contract for the title "Jousting Events," categorized within the Tourism, Built Environment, and Conservation industry. The procurement is currently in the Award stage, having completed the tendering process with the successful award made to Les Amis d'Onno. The open procedure was used for this tender, which has an active contract value of £28,000, and the contract period runs from March 1, 2019, to February 28, 2021, with options to extend.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses, especially those in event management, performance art, and historical re-enactment sectors, to expand their services within the public domain. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with experience in organising events, especially those related to cultural or historical contexts, are well-suited to compete. The contract allows for a potential growth trajectory over a four-year period, which could facilitate long-term partnerships in delivering these popular events.
