Notice Description

Midlothian Council is seeking to appoint suitably skilled, resourced and experienced Contractors to undertake reactive and planned repairs relating to General builder and Roofing work. The works will be in support, and back up to, the Authority's own in-house resources. The works will apply to both domestic and non-domestic properties of varying age, condition and construction method.

Midlothian Council is seeking to appoint suitably skilled, resourced and experienced Contractors to undertake reactive and planned general builder works. The works will be in support, and back up to, the Authority's own in-house resources. The works will apply to both domestic and non-domestic properties of varying age, condition and construction method. The Contractor will also be expected to provide emergency call-out services and be able to attend any site in Midlothian within one hour of a request to do so.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016.

Renewal: The framework may be extended by a further maximum period of 12 months.

Roofing Work

Midlothian Council, the Employer, is seeking to appoint suitably skilled, resourced and experienced Contractors to undertake reactive and planned Roof repair and maintenance work. The works will be in support, and back up to, the Authority's own in-house resources. The works will apply to both domestic and non-domestic properties of varying age, condition and construction method. In addition, the Contractor will be expected to provide emergency call-out cover and be able to attend any site within Midlothian within one hour of receiving an instruction to do so.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016.

Renewal: A maximum further 12 months of extension is available to the Authority.
