Broadband Acoustic Loggers
Notice Description
Marine Scotland requires to purchase up to 20 broadband acoustic loggers, for the purposes of long term monitoring of ambient underwater noise, as well as echolocation clicks, whistles, and other vocalisations of marine mammals. These must be capable of being moored for extended periods (several months) underwater and recording data autonomously. The devices will be used as part of a broad scale array monitoring cetaceans and underwater noise levels across the east and north coasts of Scotland.
