The contract is for the supply of Close and office cleaning services , with the potential for the inclusion of future small projects. The contract value will be up to a maximum of 100,000 GBP per annum.

Lot 1

The contract is for the supply of Gas Servicing Repairs and Maintenance Services, with the potential for the inclusion of future small projects. The contract value will be up to a maximum of 500,000 GBP per annum. CVHA currently has a Gas service Maintenance Contract with a contractor to provide the repairs and maintenance services. This contract has been in operation since 2011. Tenderers are advised that the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 as may be amended from time to time ("TUPE") may well apply to this second-generation contract. That is to say that if the current contractor is unsuccessful in being awarded the contract from November 9 2017, any of the current contractor's staff which form part of an organised grouping of employees whose principal purpose is carrying on the relevant repairs and maintenance activities on behalf of CVHA under the current contract may transfer to the new contractor under TUPE with their rights, liabilities and retaining their existing terms and conditions of employment. CVHA is not in a position to comment on the applicability or otherwise of TUPE to this contract but does wish to draw potential Tenderers' attention to the possibility that TUPE may well apply. Tenderers are advised to obtain independent legal advice on this issue and to satisfy themselves in relation to that matter. It is envisaged that the contract will be awarded for an initial period of 3 years, with the possibility by mutual agreement of extending the contract by a further 2 years (i.e. 3 + 1 + 1). The contract will deliver Gas Servicing repairs and maintenance services to around 3,500 tenanted properties. Currently the properties are located within North Lanarkshire and South Lanarkshire areas. However, the properties may be located within a wider geographical area in the future..
