Circular Economy Cities & Regions - Business Engagement Partners
Notice Description
Zero Waste Scotland wishes to engage local business engagement partners who can support delivery of circular economy activity in defined locations across Scotland and build upon the existing activity that has been undertaken to date. The locations are as follows and are in keeping with the initial research into CE opportunities mentioned earlier: 1.Edinburgh 2.Glasgow 3.North-east Scotland 4.Tayside
Lot Information
Edinburgh
The requirements are divided into four Lots, representing the following cities / regions: -Lot 1 - Edinburgh -Lot 2 - Glasgow -Lot 3 - North-east Scotland -Lot 4 - Tayside A separate contract will be issued for each of the identified Lots, and bidders may submit a proposal for all or any combination of these Lots. As each Lot will be assessed independently, bidders are requested to submit a separate response for each Lot they wish to be considered for award. This must be clearly identified in the file name for the saved document. Bidders are invited to identify any cost and / or efficiency savings that may occur in the event they are successfully awarded more than one contract. This information will not be used during the tender assessment, and will be considered only in the event of multiple contract awards, and should be detailed in Section 4 Quality Submission and Section 5 Pricing Schedule as relevant.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.

North East ScotlandLot 3 - North East Scotland of the "Circular Economy Cities & Regions - Business Engagement Partners" contract was awarded to Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce on 27 June 2019 following an Open Tender process through the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU), reference 2019/S 066-154563. The contract was to engage local business engagement partners who can support delivery of circular economy activity for SMEs in defined locations across Scotland and build upon the existing activity that has been undertaken to date. The maximum term of this contract, including all extension options, is 31 March 2022. A modification is required to increase the contract value and allow the contractor to continue to deliver agreed services under this contract to the end of the contract term. The proposed increase is equivalent to 15% of the original contract value. There is no change to the nature or extent of the services required or to the contract term. We do not currently anticipate the need for any procurement procedure to secure a replacement service.
