Notice Description
Concession Contract The University of Strathclyde is looking for a supplier to provide Ceremonial Gown Hire and Photography Services at Student Graduation events held by the University of Strathclyde. The nature of the Service requires an innovative and flexible solution which will allow compatibility with future Service requirements. The object of the procurement is to agree a concession contract providing a high quality, specialised academic gown hire and photography services that achieves maximum value for money for the customer (students, graduands and their families), while maximising the financial return to the University of Strathclyde, enhancing its reputation, and reflecting the importance of the occasion. Tenderers must be able to provide all Services listed in the specification, failure to provide any aspect of these Services may result in your tender being considered no further.

The University of Strathclyde is looking for a supplier to provide Ceremonial Gown Hire and Photography Services at Student Graduation events held by the University of Strathclyde. The nature of the Service requires an innovative and flexible solution which will allow compatibility with future Service requirements. The object of the procurement is to agree a concession contract providing a high quality, specialised academic gown hire and photography services that achieves maximum value for money for the customer (students, graduands and their families), while maximising the financial return to the University of Strathclyde, enhancing its reputation, and reflecting the importance of the occasion. Services are required for approximately 7,200 students who graduate from the University annually, - this number is based on students attending a graduation ceremony and excludes those who graduate 'in absentia'. Please note that the number of students attending graduation is indicative, and there is no guarantee of actual numbers. Tenderers must be able to provide all Services listed in the Specification, failure to provide any aspect of these Services may result in your tender being considered no further.
Options: The Contracting Authority reserves the right to request additional deliveries by the Successful Tenderer either intended as partial replacement of services or as the extension of existing services. The Contracting Authority may at its sole discretion exercise this option.
Renewal: The contract is for a 3 year term with an optional 12 month extension period. Renewal will be planned accordingly.
