SCOTTISH GOVERNMENT

This public procurement record has 1 release in its history.

Summary of the contracting process

The Scottish Government is currently in the planning stage for a Request for Information (RFI) regarding Health and Safety Training (e-learning), with a total estimated budget of £200,000. This RFI aims to gather indicative costs and learning options for a range of Health and Safety courses, which are expected to commence in Autumn 2019. The anticipated number of employees requiring training is up to 1,400, and service providers are expected to offer downloadable SCORM e-learning packages compatible with the Scottish Government's Learning Management System. The deadline for further notice in relation to this procurement is set for 13 March 2019.

This procurement process offers significant opportunities for businesses within the education and training sector, particularly those specialising in e-learning or Health and Safety compliance training, to engage with a major governmental body. Companies capable of developing and delivering SCORM-compliant online training modules would be well-suited to compete for this contract. Furthermore, businesses that can demonstrate compliance with the latest legislative standards and have experience in training delivery to large organisations will be particularly attractive to the Scottish Government as it seeks to enhance the Health and Safety competencies of its workforce.
