SCOTTISH GOVERNMENT

This public procurement record has 1 release in its history.

Summary of the contracting process

The Scottish Government is inviting tenders for the "Scottish Procurement Information Hub," a project aimed at developing a management information platform that will support various public sector bodies, including Local Authorities and NHS Scotland. The procurement has reached the Award stage, with a total contract value of £1,100,000. The contract was signed on 26th February 2019, and the procurement method employed is a limited procedure without prior publication of a call for competition. It is located in Glasgow, UK, and focuses on the services industry, particularly in the area of public services management.

This project presents an excellent opportunity for businesses specialising in management information systems, data analytics, and contract management solutions. Firms capable of providing web-based spend analysis tools or related services are especially encouraged to compete, as the Scottish Government has indicated a commitment to consulting with the market to refine its future requirements. The successful supplier, Spikes Cavell, has demonstrated capacity and expertise, indicating the competitive field can accommodate other large-scale providers aiming to support public sector infrastructure.
