Lot Information

Lot 1

The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Microsoft to ensure public sector organisations continue to receive discounts on cloud products from the 1 May 2018. These agreed prices are available through various Scottish and UK frameworks, and whilst there are no discounts available beyond those agreed with Microsoft, various options were available in terms of our migration to M365. To better understand the available options, we chose to engage with our incumbent supplier and the single supplier on the Scottish Government Software Value Added Reseller Framework. Further to this there was engagement directly with Microsoft to raise awareness of the application features of each of the M365 platform. Through a number of workshops held with both suppliers it became clear that there was no benefit to tendering the opportunity as the pricing for each proposed model was identical.
