Notice Description
NHS Lothian Estates Department is responsible for the 24/7 planned and reactive maintenance of buildings, plant and equipment across approximately 150 properties including 6 main hospital sites. The department is also involved in minor construction projects, installation of new equipment, upgrading and refurbishment of wards. At times of high demand upon the service, there may be a need to supplement the existing NHSL workforce with Glazing contractors.

NHS Lothian Estates Department is responsible for the 24/7 planned and reactive maintenance of buildings, plant and equipment across approximately 150 properties including 6 main hospital sites. The department is also involved in minor construction projects, installation of new equipment, upgrading and refurbishment of wards. At times of high demand upon the service, there may be a need to supplement the existing NHSL workforce with Glazing contractors. This is a single Lot tender consisting Glazing and Associated Products & Services. This Tender is for Term Contract work for smaller single trade projects with a value less than 50K GBP (excluding VAT). The resulting contract will be a ranked Framework Contract covering an initial three year period (2019 to 2022) with an option to extend for a further year to maximum of four years. Examples of works that could be covered by this contract include: Glazing Repairs Replace broken and Damaged Panes. Glass Door Servicing and Maintenance Apply material to fill gaps in surfaces. Parts Replacement Fitting of new PVC Windows & Doors Fitting of new Wooden Framed Windows & Doors. Fitting of new Aluminium Framed Windows & Doors.
Renewal: An option to extend for a further 12 months is included.
