Suppliers awarded lot 1 or lot 2 will be invited to submit a mini competition which will be based on specific project requirements. Each project will be evaluated using the aforementioned weighting's, however, the council may carry forward quality scores which will be added to the price score, identifying the top scoring supplier, who shall be awarded the project. Where a project is deemed to have specific requirements e.g. high value/risk, we may amend the quality questions to ensure that they meet the project needs. Points allocated will be added to the price score to identify the top scoring supplier who will be awarded the work. West Lothian Council is committed to maximising Community Benefits from its procurement activities in line with the council's Corporate Plan. Community Benefits will be proportionate to the contract value with an estimated aggregates purchase value of 50,000 GBP and over. Community Benefits will form part of the contract award, community benefits are in addition to the core purpose of the contract. These clauses can be used to build a range of economic, social or environmental conditions into the delivery of council contracts. Such social, economic and environmental benefits are hereinafter referred to as \"Community Benefits\". Further details and examples of community benefits are available in the tender package.
