Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process involves Craigdale Housing Association, based in Glasgow, UK, which is seeking contractors for the "Craigdale HA RM Framework 2019" project. This initiative falls under the housing and community amenities category and is currently in the 'Award' stage. The tender is focused on reactive maintenance repair works across multiple addresses in Castlemilk and includes diverse trades such as general building, electrical, plumbing, and painting, with contracts signed as of 9th September 2019. Businesses interested in participating had the opportunity to submit bids until 15th April 2019.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses in the construction and maintenance sectors, particularly those that specialise in trades such as building, electrical services, plumbing, and roofing. Companies that are either Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) or larger firms with the capacity to handle reactive maintenance contracts would be well-suited to compete for these framework agreements. Suppliers will benefit from ongoing work over a defined period, with options for further extensions, marking a substantial opportunity for sustained engagement with the housing association.
