Notice Description
This award notice is to confirm The University of Edinburgh appointment of a total of 4 suppliers to a framework agreement (incorporating a MTC) for the provision of small mechanical works and associated services up to 250,000 GBP (inclusive of VAT) to service the University's estate of approx. 750 varied buildings in Edinburgh and Midlothian. Suppliers will be expected to plan works with the end user's operations in mind, and tailor a customer focused service with strong planning and communication throughout their organisation.

This is an award notice. The University is appointing a total of 4 suppliers to a framework agreement (incorporating a MTC) for the provision of Mechanical Small Works and associated services up to 250,000 GBP (inclusive of VAT)to service the University's estate of approximately 750 varied buildings over 800,000 square metres. The framework will operate on a ranked basis and will comprise of two geographical lots with two suppliers appointed to each lot. Lot 1 - Science & Engineering (KB) and Medical and Veterinary Areas. Lot 2 - Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, Accommodation, Catering and Events (ACE)and professional services.. The value stated in II.2.6 of 1280000 GBP is the estimated 4 year value of Lot 1 - Science & Engineering (KB) and Medical & Veterinary Areas
Renewal: this will be renewed in approximately 4 years time.

MTC Small Mechanical Works - The University of Edinburgh wishes to appoint a total of 4 suppliers to a framework agreement (incorporating a MTC) for the provision of small mechanical works and associated services up to 250,000 GBP (inclusive of VAT) to service the University's estate of approx. 750 varied buildings in Edinburgh and Midlothian. This procurement will be conducted via the Public Contracts Scotland - Tender portal (PCS-T). We will apply a one stage Open procedure. Bidders must self-certify their adherence to the conditions of participation via the ESPD (Scotland) in PSC-T, and may be required to submit Means of Proof before contract award. Bidders must refer to the specific requirements listed in the Section III in this Contract Notice when completing the ESPD in PCS-T.
