Notice Description
SBHA has a stock of 5,646 properties. All require a 5 year electrical safety inspection along with around 624 communal areas with lighting. All properties must also be LD2 Grade D/F compliant by 29th January 2021. 2,646 currently have or are scheduled in an existing programme of works to be LD2 Grade D/F compliant by 29th January 2021. The purpose of the works included in this contract is to ensure compliance of the remaining properties to LD2 by 29th January 2021 and to complete periodic electrical checks for all properties and communal areas including communal lighting as well as completing the associated electrical works.

Lot 1

"performanceTerms": "SBHA expects a 12 month defects period on all works carried out as part of this contract to extend 12 months beyond the contract finish date. All materials should be accompanied by the appropriate manufacturers warranty. SBHA expects all works, installations and related services as outlined in this specification and any other works, installations and related services as referred to in paragraph 2.3 below to be completed according to the specification. In particular, all LD2 installations MUST be completed by 29th January 2021. Failure to complete by the due date will result in these works being allocated elsewhere and a fee of 100 GBP per property will be payable to SBHA in compensation to meet the additional costs incurred ensuring SBHA is compliant by the 1st February 2021 deadline."
