Digital Workplace Transformation - Technical Partner
Notice Description
As part of our Digital Strategy, the Crown Office & Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) will transform the corporate desktop computer into a 'Digital Workplace' solution, equipping our staff with the digital technology tools and capability to support our digital strategy enterprise and staff flexibility working aims. The Digital Workplace will provide staff with technology that has been designed to enable digital working and completion of tasks and business activities, helping support increased productivity. COPFS will also deliver improvements to existing IT services, by fixing known issues arising from legacy desktop technologies or configurations.

COPFS required a transformation partner to support the migration to the cloud, Windows 10, modern device management and applications integration, and to ensure we implement these new solutions in a smooth and seamless way that delivers a quality service. A transformation partner will primarily provide the technical capability and knowledge to successfully navigate the road to moving workloads to the cloud, supporting the adoption so to maximise the investment being made and to leverage the benefits of the Microsoft Office 365 suite portfolio. This was procured through the Crown Commercial Service G-Cloud 10 framework.
