Notice Description

Kingdom Housing Association is seeking expressions of interest from suppliers to develop a small affordable housing development at Main Street, Torryburn using modular/off site construction. The works will include the supply and installation of the modular homes as well as all associated external works including the formation of any drainage, roads, footpaths and parking. The proposed new affordable housing project will comprise of 4 x 2 Bed Homes.

Kingdom Housing Association is seeking expressions of interest from suppliers to develop a small affordable housing development at Main Street, Torryburn using modular/off site construction. The works will include the supply and installation of the modular homes as well as all associated external works including the formation of any drainage, roads, footpaths and parking. The proposed new affordable housing project will comprise of 4 x 2 Bed Homes. It is Kingdom's intention to start on site prior to March 2020 subject to all statutory consents being in place. Suppliers must demonstrate previous experience in the delivery of modular/off site construction preferably within an affordable housing environment. The proposed system must demonstrate flexibility to meet a range of design compliance requirements including Housing for Varying Needs, Secured by Design and Kingdom's own Design Standards which require building to Scottish Building Regulation's Silver Sustainability Standards. Please provide your company profile, statement describing your knowledge and approach to modular/off site construction and 3 photographic examples of similar projects to the email address which is detailed in section 1.1 (development@kha.scot). Please note that the deadline for expressions of interest and the supply of this information is 23 August 2019.
