It is envisaged that the three Contractors scoring highest following the overall price and quality evaluation will be appointed to the Framework. Subsequent orders may be issued to framework contractors at the Association's discretion and may be subject to a mini-tendering competition. The bidders finishing in 2nd and 3rd place overall following the tender evaluation process shall be appointed to the Framework in these positions in a 'back-up' capacity in the event that the Preferred Contractor does not perform to the required standards or have the capacity to complete works within the Client's timescales at any point over the course of the Framework Agreement. Should this situation arise, the client reserves the right to utilise the other Framework Contractors to complete any non-performing Contractor's works orders.
