Electric Vehicle Charge Points
Notice Description
The Scottish Government have set targets to phase out the need for new petrol and diesel cars and vans by 2032. This includes phasing out the need for all new petrol and diesel vehicles in Scotland's public sector fleet by 2030, and more pressingly phasing out the need for all new petrol and diesel cars from the public sector fleet by 2025. In order to support these targets, the Infrastructure for Electric Vehicles will have to increase across all local authority areas in Scotland. As Scotland Excel already carry out collaborative procurement exercises on behalf of the 32 Scottish local authorities, we are ideally placed to support all 32 Scottish local authorities by developing a framework that will enable them to attain a range of works and services, with regards to the supply, delivery and installation of Electric Vehicle Charge Points. The scope is expected to include the supply, delivery and installation of EV Charge Points. Scotland Excel are also considering options for including supply only, install only or maintenance of EV Charge Points.
