Award of 701_0438 Construction of 650m of New Forest Road at East Loch Ard 30036
Notice Description
We will be awarding a contract for the construction of 650m of new forest road in the Loch Ard Forest near Aberfoyle.Forestry and Land Scotland require the work to be carried out to aid upcoming harvesting works in Central Region. The works will provide access to 44 tonne timber lorries and must be suitable for allowing loading operations to be carried out from these facilities.The road will allow access to a coupe which is required as part of the 2019/2020 harvesting programme and therefore it is essential that the road construction runs to schedule so it does not delay works.
