ng homes (NGH) operates a Direct Works department (ng2) to carry out the Grounds Maintenance Works to their portfolio of tenanted and managed properties and open space areas in the north of Glasgow. ng homes (NGH) operates a Direct Works department (ng2) to carry out the Grounds Maintenance Works to their portfolio of tenanted and managed properties and open space areas in the north of Glasgow A number of vehicles will be required from 23rd March 2020 to facilitate these works. The Association is seeking tenders from vehicle leasing companies capable of fulfilling their requirements as set out within the Invitation to Tender document. The requirements for vehicles will change to reflect the varying workload involved in this contract due to the seasonal aspect of Grounds Maintenance Works. As such, the requirements of the leasing arrangement are as follows: - Monday 23rd March 2020 to Sunday 1st November 2020 5nr double cab caged tipper vans & 1nr Long Wheel Base Transit type van Monday 2nd November 2019 to Sunday 21st March 2021 3nr double cab caged tipper vans Monday 22nd March 2020 to Sunday 31st October 2021 5nr double cab caged tipper vans & 1nr Long Wheel Base Transit type van Monday 1st November 2021 to Sunday 20th March 2022 3nr double cab caged tipper vans The Association reserves the right to review their requirements from time to time over the period of the leasing arrangement. Should the number of vehicles required increase then additional vehicles shall be supplied at the rates tendered within this document. Should the number of vehicles required reduced then these shall be omitted from the leasing arrangement at no financial penalty to the Association. The lease requirement is for 24 months commencing on 23rd March 2020 and ending on 20th March 2022 and will include Vehicle Excise Duty, servicing and maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer's schedule for the specific vehicles provided, breakdown cover and replacement vehicles. The Vehicle Leasing Company will allow ng homes to attach their vinyl livery to the vans and these will be removed by ng homes at the end of the leasing period. The servicing, maintenance and repair works to include the cost of replacement parts and workmanship, overheads and profit. Costs are to remain firm for the duration of the contract. As part of the leasing arrangement ng homes requires the vehicle leasing company to allow ng homes to install vehicle tracking devices and dashboard mounted cameras within each vehicle. These devices will be removed from each vehicle by ng homes at the end of the leasing period. All vehicles are to be white in colour. Replacement vehicles are to be supplied on a like for like basis to match the vehicle being replaced. The vehicles require to be available from Monday 23rd March 2020.. Costs are to remain firm for the duration of the contract. Vehicles must be permanently replaced if two breakdowns which require the van to be out of service for more than three hours occur in any one-month period.
