The provision of a contract covering Servicing, Maintenance and Repairs to Fire Alarms and Intruder Alarms with Repairs only to CCTV in all Stirling Council public buildings

Fire Alarms - The contractor shall test 50% of the fire alarms within the premises as follows: i. Check and test smoke/heat detectors ii. Check and test Breakglass units iii. Check and test sounders, strobes etc. iv. Check and test functionality of fire alarm panel v. Check and test battery and record readings vi. Ensure system is fully functional vii. Provide certificate on site and another to Contract Administrator (electronic) viii. Fire alarm testing shall fully comply with BS 5839-1 2002. ix. All interfaces to Access Control, Lifts, Boiler Plant, Magnetic door units etc to be checked. x. Digital diallers where connected shall be checked to ensure signal at Contact Centre. INTRUDER ALARMS and CCTV - During the Contract Period the Contractor will visit each of the premises at six monthly intervals (i.e. twice per annum). During each visit the maintenance procedures to be carried out shall be in compliance with British Standard 4737 Part 2, Section 2.2. Parts supplied must conform to the appropriate EN / BS standards and should not be specific only to the nominated Service Provider. That is: Parts provided should be freely available across the industry (wherever possible)

Renewal: An optional 2 x 12 month extension periods is included
