The successful supplier will develop original approaches and suggest creative ways to attract visitors to our presentation at the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2020 predominantly through social media. We are looking for a social media coordinator (or agency) with a proven track record to devise a strategy to maintain a strong online presence for the Scotland + Venice project in 2020. The role of the successful agency/individual is to create and implement online marketing strategies through social media accounts to drive content and engagement throughout the whole project. The successful supplier will also provide a clear roadmap, briefing and easy to follow guidance for the Scotland + Venice team on maintaining and implementing the strategy throughout the run of the project. The successful contractor will also create key content to support the launch of the project. Ideally you will be able to devise a campaign that can work both locally (Venice) and to a UK audience, supporting the overall messaging of the project. Responsibilities - Research audience preferences and current trends - Write guidelines for creating engaging text, image and video content - Design and create posts to sustain readers' curiosity and create interest and engagement with the Scotland + Venice project, especially in its launch phase. - Advice on and set up metrics/reports to monitor performance. - Advice on appropriate social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness - Monitor online conversations and raise issues with A&DS if they arise. - Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics - Support partner organisations to maximise our collective impact and collaborate with partners involved with the project to identify appropriate content. - Develop social media guidance for our staff and participants. Requirements - Proven experience as a social media coordinator/strategist - Expertise in multiple social media platforms and a strategic approach to planning content - In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics - Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video) - Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach with high level of attention to detail. - Experience in working to promote a cultural, visitor or similar attraction, or festival experience. Highly Desirable skills - Experience of working across multiple markets/internationally - Italian language skills

    "description": "Terms This is a contract to provide professional services for a limited period to support Scotland's presentation at the 2020 Venice Architecture Biennale. The contract has a fixed fee of 3,000 GBP (including VAT) to cover the professional fee and any expenses related to the work. The core work will take place from late March until early of June 2020. A&DS may be able to pay some additional expenses but please note that this budget is limited. However, there may be a requirement to travel to Venice for a short period in late May 2020. The cost for this will be covered by A&DS. Any additional expenditure must have prior approval from A&DS. The successful contractor must be free and able to travel to Italy between 18 - 24 May if asked to do so. Tendering Process Your response should include: - A brief description of your relevant experience. You must include evidence of at least one successful cultural/art/festival events campaign including key metrics to demonstrate impact that you have devised. - What you anticipate being able to deliver within the allocated budget (value for money) - Approach: Initial thoughts on how you would approach the brief and what you would bring to the project (500 words or less) . Submissions Your proposal will be judged on the following criteria: Relevant Experience - A brief description of your relevant experience. You must include evidence of at least one successful cultural/art/festival events campaign including key metrics to demonstrate impact that you have devised. - 40% Value for Money - What you anticipate being able to deliver within the allocated budget of 3,000 GBP including VAT - 30% Proposal and outline approach - Initial thoughts on how you would approach the brief and what you would bring to the project (500 words or less)- 30% Please note that this contract is time-limited and does not extend to a retainer or ongoing contract.
