Notice Description
Purpose of procurement is to procure the required hardware, software, specialist infrastructure, and implementation and support service for a self-check in, next patient call and observation pod solution. Procurement to be run in 2 lots: Lot 1 - Self Check in and Next Patient Call Lot 2 - Observation Pods Lots could be awarded to same or different suppliers
Lot Information
Patient Self Check in and Next Patient Call
The Self Check in solution should allow the patient to arrive themselves for their scheduled appointments/admissions and update the respective scheduling system with the arrived status. NHS Grampian are also looking for a solution to allow clinicians to "call" patients from their clinic room via use of technology (next patient call). Audio and visual display on the waiting room screen is required to inform the patient when they are required to enter the clinical area and what room they are required to go to.. Renewal: The service element of the contract is subject to renewal up to a further 5 years depending on mutual consent.
Observation PodsThe Observation Pod solution should allow the patient to take their own vital readings and for these readings to be available real time in the patient's electronic clinical record. The vital readings should include height, weight and blood pressure.. Please check specification on PCS - tender for more details.
Renewal: The service element of the contract may be renewed for a further 60 months (5 years) subject to mutual consent.
