Notice Description
SNBTS requires Automated Plasmapheresis Collection Machines which must: - Be capable of providing leuco-depleted plasma for the manufacture of Covid-19 Convalescent Plasma(C19-CP), Fresh Frozen Plasma and Source plasma for blood products. - These devices should enable the collection of double and triple doses of CP and FFP - These must be in line with Guidelines for the Blood Transfusion Services in the UK (Current Edition) and the Blood Safety & Quality Regulations 2005.
Lot Information
Lot 1
There is a need for plasmapheresis devices to achieve a degree of self-sufficiency from volunteer plasma donations to manufacture Immunoglobulin (Ig) therapeutic product to meet clinical demand.
Options: SNBTS may decide to purchase additional devices during the period of the contract.
Renewal: The Contract period shall be for an initial period of 13 months from the date of commencement of the Contract. SNBTS shall be entitled, at its option, to continue the period of the Contract for three (3) twelve (12) month extension periods.
