Notice Description

The Council has a requirement to service and maintain its existing suite of Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS), which currently consists of 206 sites across the estate. Contract requirements include, servicing & maintenance support to cover the Council's existing BEMS network and systems currently in place, including schools, office accommodation, and community centres. The Council may require new systems over the contract period, as well as a phased programme of upgrading a number of older controllers to current spec. Upgrades and maintenance of the System Engineering Tool and front-end software will be required, including any future front-end software installations. The service will also include scheduled on-site maintenance visits and 24/7 off-site response and support, there are approximately 206 BEMS sites currently within the estate, but this figure is subject to change throughout the contract term. The contract will include for the provision of broadband line installs for any newly installed BEMS (approx.. 20 per annum) throughout the contract life and to retrofit, as a minimum 100 of the Councils 3G/4G networking sites with broadband lines (approximately 137 3G/4G sites currently within the estate).
