Summary of the contracting process

The Procurement for Housing (PfH) is initiating a tender for the "Decorating Solutions Framework Agreement" aimed at providing decorative solutions, set to support a value of £50 million. This procurement process is currently in the planning stage, and the framework is scheduled to be finalised following market engagement, expected to culminate in a communication of further details on 14 May 2021. The framework will consist of multiple supplier lots focusing on home decorating schemes and associated products, with the aim of benefiting various contracting authorities primarily located in the UK, including localities such as Edinburgh.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in home decoration and related products, particularly those able to supply decorating materials, equipment, and services. Companies engaged in the manufacture or distribution of paint, wall coverings, and decorating services will find this procurement appealing. Additionally, businesses that can offer innovative solutions such as electronic vouchers or decorative cleaning materials would be well-positioned to compete in this framework, aiming to cater to the needs of housing authorities and social housing providers involved in the PfH initiative.
