The Framework Contract shall be in accordance with the rights and obligations of the Employer (Client) and the Contractor (Supplier) as regulated by the NEC4 Framework Contract (June 2017). Contracts awarded through the Framework will be subject to the conditions of the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Short Contract (June 2017). The Framework will commence early March 2021 to late February 2023 with the option to extend annually for a further 2 years. The first Works Order 2021 will commence 1st May 2021 and end 30th September 2021.. Depending on the level of competition, the Council may choose to award the Framework only or the First Works Order only or both. This decision is at the sole discretion of East Ayrshire Council.",

A Environmental management policy authorised by their Chief Executive or equivalent, and is regularly reviewed at a senior management level, which is relevant to the scale and scope of the contract.
