This Website Discovery Project will assess the need for a new website for the Scottish Information Commissioner, set out requirements and recommendations for a new website (including identifying user 'personas' and priorities), and prepare a roadmap for development of a new website. The aim is to ensure any new website is developed appropriately and efficiently. The invitation to tender was published on the 6 January 2021 via Lot 1 of the DPS on the PCS-Tender portal and closed on 20 January 2021. The award was based on the price (25% weighting) and 5 quality criteria (75% weighting, equally) as follows: a)The proposed methodology and approach will deliver all required project outputs b)The proposed methodology and approach meet our needs and support our intended outcomes c)The work will be conducted in a way which will keep it on track and delivered to the tight timeframe (i.e. starting no later than 2 February 2021 and complete by 2 April 2021) d)The work will be conducted in a way which will keep the Commissioner's staff team informed, all approvals obtained as required and ensure outputs are developed in line with their needs e)The work will be conducted in a way which will take account of data protection and cybersecurity requirements and mitigate any personal data risks
