Supply, Delivery and Commissioning of Isolation Equipment

Notice Description

To support ongoing and future projects, Continuous Manufacturing and Crystallisation (CMAC) Future Manufacturing Research Hub is looking to procure an additional filtration/isolation platform to operate in our existing world class facilities in the Technology and Innovation Centre at Strathclyde. This will sit alongside CMAC's existing microfactory research testbeds which are key pillars in our overall pharmaceutical processing capability, providing an expansive and comprehensive array of operations, to aid and support ongoing manufacturing research, the development of specialised filtration/isolation activities and processes, and support industrial partnerships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 (industrial) partners.

The new purchase must represent a significant advancement and provide a marked improvement at supporting these operations, as evidenced in the response. It is important for CMAC to have a broad range of technologies to support our advanced manufacturing strategies in addition to our digital theme and it is essential that new equipment will be superior to what we have existing. Critical aspects of the equipment are: - robust operation and routine - ease of use with a wide range of particles, - suspensions as well as providing an opportunity for further enhancement - connection/integration with other microfactory platform
