The Supplier Development Programme, in partnership with East Ayrshire, North Ayrshire and South Ayrshire councils, has scheduled this pan-Ayrshire annual event in an alternative format, as a live, virtual online event, which aims to engage suppliers in open and connected procurement across the public sector and support efforts towards economic recovery from the COVID-19 crisis whilst complying with on-going restrictions on face-to-face gatherings in Scotland. This year's Ayrshire Meet the Buyer event aims to help local businesses understand the Community Wealth Building strategy, and find out what contract opportunities are available both within the three councils and further afield, across a range of sectors.
