The purpose of the procurement was to obtain a suitably qualified consultancy firm with experience and knowledge of 5G networks and delivery of Innovation Centres / accelerators to support the Scotland 5G Centre (S5GC) to establish research and development innovation test beds across Scotland.

The Scotland 5G Centre (S5GC) sought to obtain the services of a suitably qualified consultancy firm, with experience and knowledge of 5G networks and delivery of Innovation Centres / Accelerators to support the S5GC to establish research and development innovation test beds across Scotland. The 5G Accelerator Hubs will operate as pre-commercialisation environments, that will enable organisations to develop and test 5G use cases across industry sectors. The Hubs will be deployed regionally and act as a coloration zone to develop applications and services that will generate tangible outcomes and routes to commercialisation.
