The Scottish Government's Directorate for International Trade and Investment: ITI: Food and Drink Division requires a Contractor to support the delivery of their food industry grant scheme.

Lot 1
In order to deliver the aims of the scheme, ITI: Food and Drink Division require a Food Industry Adviser to provide specialist marketing and financial advice, and consider the business cases put forward by applicants. The information received from the applicant comprises an application form , accounts and other supporting documents (which could include a Business Plan, financial statements and proof of available markets). The adviser would have an in-depth knowledge of primary agricultural products along with the processing and manufacturing methods to be undertaken before such products reach their final market and the consumer. A full understanding of the structure of the Scottish food and drink industries is essential together with knowledge of food and drink marketing and promotion, health and the environment in relation to food and drink production and consumption, collaborative marketing structures, business finance, development and management will be required. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland)Regulations 2015.
