01898 SAN Storage for the Scottish Prison Service
Notice Description
The SPS currently has an installation of two NetApp storage arrangements - one at each of the two data centres utilised by the SPS. These storage arrangements each consist of two identical HA pair Fibre enabled controllers and two disk arrays. One disk array has ISCSI storage and the other disk array Fibre enabled storage. The SPS requires two storage shelves (one at each data centre) to provide around 28Tb of addressable storage to complement the storage already in place.

An Invitation to Quote (ITQ) was issued under the auspices of Crown Commercial Services RM6068 - Technology Products & Associated Services - Lot 2 - Hardware & Associated Services. The rules set out in the Framework Agreement and the ITQ schedules provided by SPS applied. All suppliers listed on the relevant lot were invited to quote.
