Notice Description

City of Glasgow College's Riverside Campus currently has been designated the international maritime hub for COP26. This will be a significant opportunity for the successful bidder to showcase their product on an international stage. At present we have two lifeboats, one 7 metre Open Lifeboat and one 6.5 metre Totally Enclosed Motor Propelled Survival Craft, we also have two Rescue Boats, one Fast Rescue Boat due to the age of this equipment and the inability to have service and repairs completed there is a plan and proposal to renew the crafts. We use these for the purposes of student training, demonstrations and commercial training. Requirements City of Glasgow College requires 2 lifeboats and 2 rescue boats. Date of Installation. It is critical to this contract that the boats are installed and commissioned prior to COP26 commencing. The target date for installation and commissioning to be completed is the 11th of October 2021, the absolute latest date the boats can be installed and commissioned is 22nd of October 2021.
