Notice Description
Crown Estate Scotland was seeking to appoint a consultant who can provide a team of reviewers (the 'Reviewer Team') to undertake the evaluation of the applicants to this leasing round, named ScotWind Leasing. The team will complement another team of reviewers (the 'First Reviewer Team') who have worked with us to develop the ScotWind Leasing process.

Lot 1
The purpose of this work is for the appointed consultant to provide and coordinate competent persons with relevant experience and knowledge in Offshore Wind, Project Development, and Health & Safety to assist in the evaluation of ScotWind Leasing applications. The work includes: - Provision of a team of reviewers capable of evaluating each application to ScotWind Leasing, including Commercial specialist and Health & Safety specialist reviewers; - Number of applications to be evaluated is now known (74). - A period of training for the Reviewer Team provided by Crown Estate Scotland and/or the First Reviewer Team); - Evaluation and moderation of ScotWind Leasing applications; and - Ad-hoc post-valuation support.
Options: At the point of procurement there were still a number of areas of uncertainty particularly in relation to number of applications to be evaluated as part of delivery of the services, however by conclusion these had been resolved.
