Notice Title

Award of Scottish Government - Interim Pro Managers Framework - Comms Manager

Notice Description

This is an exciting time to join the team supporting the SVS Programme. The 2021 SNP Manifesto contained a commitment to "create a new Scottish veterinary service (SVS) to ensure that we have enough people with the right qualifications in veterinary services, animal health and food safety to meet all our needs across public and private sector for land and marine based animal health issues". This is now a Programme for Government commitment for 2021-22.This will mean that we will be working with both external and internal stakeholders to agree the high level changes that will need to be communicated across the programme. The SVS Programme is committed to taking a user centred approach to service design, and engagement with staff, users and stakeholders is at the heart of this. The successful applicant will lead in the creation of the internal and external Communication. The person will also be responsible for creating the Communication & Engagement Strategy, and roadmap to achieving our targets/commitments. In doing this, the successful applicant will work with communications and engagement colleagues across Scottish Government and other public bodies, and we expect that the team will be expanded to support the delivery of the Strategy.
