Notice Description
The Scottish Government is seeking a Service Provider to provide (a) the hire of webcasting equipment, and (b) online website with hosting for video and reporting resource to assist the Purchaser in the delivery of live and archive video streams of public planning appeals meetings from across Scotland. The Purchaser uses webcasting as part of a strategy to involve a wider audience in the democratic processes of the Directorate of Planning and Environmental Appeals (DPEA) by improving accessibility to hearings and inquiries, and so deliver a more open and accountable planning appeals process. The Purchaser wishes to provide audiences with real time access to live-streamed events. The Purchaser also requires the ability to upload and publish pre-recorded meetings online.

Lot 1
The Scottish Government has a requirement to place a contract with an external service provider for the provision of (a) the hire of webcasting equipment, and (b) online website with hosting for video and reporting resource to assist with the delivery of live and archive video streams of public planning appeals meetings from across Scotland. The contract will be let for an initial period of 24 months with 2 x 12 month optional extension periods.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
Renewal: 2 x 12 month extension periods
