"description": "Pitlochry Festival Theatre (PFT) is a highly successful producing theatre and tourist attraction in Highland Perthshire. Each year it creates up to nine mainstage productions and attracts c. 100,000 visitors to its productions, botanic garden, cafe-bar, restaurant, art gallery and shop. The redevelopment project will build upon PFT's proud history of quality and creativity by transforming it into a 21st century centre of excellence. The vision is for the redevelopment to enable PFT to deliver high quality in-house theatre output on two different scales with a diverse programme, an entirely new approach to vocational training and skills development which responds to talent pipeline gaps within the creative industries, and an unrivalled visitor experience - all within an extraordinary location. PFT is seeking to appoint a multi-disciplinary design team to deliver RIBA Stages 1-7 on the key redevelopment works identified as \"Phase 2\" in the PFT masterplanning exercise undertaken in late 2021. The master plan is split into four phases:- Phase 1 - Studio and Foyer Extension (works currently on site and due for completion in Spring 2022) Phase 2 - Main Building refurbishment, rehearsal room relocation and workshop and office upgrades Phase 3 - Garden and Landscape Phase 4 - Redevelopment of Port Na Craig facilities and site The contract is anticipated to commence in September 2022 at RIBA Stage 1 and last for a period of approximately 25 months. A Market Engagement questionnaire has been prepared by PFT to establish the level of market interest and gain feedback/comments on the proposed procurement, and to inform an appropriate procurement strategy.
